If you have a physical disability, or you care for someone who does, you can get support to live independently.
Get support in the community
Find information about support in your local area, including:
- social groups and activities
- information about healthy living
- advice, support and self-help
You can find local community support, services and activities in Croydon.
Occupational therapy, equipment or adaptations
The occupational therapy team can:
- help you get equipment and home adaptations to help you with everyday activities
- advise your carers about how best to support you
Request Occupational therapy
You can refer yourself for occupational therapy, or someone else, like a family member or a friend can do it on your behalf.
We'll check your eligibility for occupational therapy services. We'll do this by finding out about your needs and daily tasks by phone or at a home visit.
You can request occupational therapy online.
Get support with your wheelchair
You can contact the Wheelchair Service through the Provide Equipment Hub.
Request support from the council
If your physical disability makes it difficult to do daily tasks, you can ask us for help to stay healthy and well.
