Autism Service

Active Lives has a dedicated autism service which supports adults with autism and is based mainly at the Cherry Hub.

This service includes:

  • supporting people with autism to be independent and build confidence in day-to-day activities
  • training for families, carers, professionals and communities
  • one-to-one or small group support to help deal with difficult issues

Croydon Pub Experience Group

Croydon Autism Pub Experience Group is for people with Autism who would like to explore Croydon’s pubs and cafes with other people.

All the meetings will be held on the last Thursday of the month and a facilitator will be at the venue between 6pm to 8pm.

The meetings planned for the second half of the year are:

  • 25 July, The Spreadeagle, 39-41 Katharine St, Croydon CR0 1NX
  • 29 August, The Oval Tavern, 131 Oval Rd, Croydon CR0 6BR
  • 26 September, The George, The Enterprise House, 17-21 George Street, Croydon CR0 1LA
  • 31 October, Bedford Tavern, 16 Sydenham Rd, Croydon CR0 2EF
  • 28 November, Slug and Lettuce, 10 Park Lane, Croydon CR0 1JA
  • 19 December, The Dog and Bull, 24 Surrey St, Croydon CR0 1RG
