Home monitoring and personal alarms
Overview
Home monitoring systems provide much needed peace of mind for elderly and vulnerable people, as well as their families.
At the most basic level, service users are provided with a pendant alarm that can be triggered in the event of a fall or other emergency.
For more advanced requirements, where the service user is unable to operate the alarm, there is a range of intelligent devices that provide assistance with everyday activities.
These include:
- fall sensors
- wandering systems
- GPS devices
- bed, chair, and floor sensors
- epilepsy sensors
