You may qualify for a London Taxicard if you are either:
- registered blind
- have severe mobility problems that prevent you using public transport
How it works
We will pay a certain amount towards a number of taxi journeys for you, and you pay the remainder of the fare. You can find out how much we contribute on the London Councils website.

Keep your contact details up to date
It is your responsibility to keep your address and contact details up to date. If you change your personal details, you must call London Councils on 020 7934 9791 to inform them of your change of details and they will update their records.
Taxi fares consultation
Transport for London (TfL) have opening the annual Taxi fares consultation.
The consultation covers:
- potential changes to the minimum fare and tariffs
- London City Airport and potential extra charges for passengers taking a taxi from or to the airport
