View your benefit claim online

If you're entitled to housing benefit or council tax support, you can view your claim online by using our My Account Service. It is a really good and efficient way of keeping track of your claim to ensure that the correct information is held.

Benefits of using My Account

By registering for a housing benefit or council tax support account, you can:

• see a summary of your entitlements
• see the details used in your benefit calculation
• see when your next payment of benefit is and how much it will be
• view your benefit entitlement letters online, once registered you will no longer receive entitlement letters by post
• get email notifications when new entitlement letters are ready
• You can also use this service to tell us of any changes

Registering will also allow you to gain access to manage your Council Tax account

Register for an account

You can register for my account if you've not used it before. Creating an account is easy and only takes a few minutes.

To register, you will need:

• your first and last name as they appear on your benefit letter
• your national insurance number
• an email address
• your date of birth
