Relief type | Description |
---|---|
Charity/mandatory | 80% statutory occupied charity relief. |
Top up | 20% discretionary charity relief. |
Discretionary | 0 to 100% at the council's discretion, see qualifying criteria. |
Small business rate | Relief for occupied properties with rateable values up to £15,000. Additional properties - providing none of the other properties have a rateable value above £2899 and the total rateable value of all the occupied properties is under £28,000. |
Empty rate | 100% for 3 to 6 months. |
Expanded Retail Discount | Relief for occupied retail, leisure and hospitality properties. |
