How to notify us about a cooling tower or an evaporative condenser and the locations of cooling towers in Croydon.
Premises with cooling towers and evaporative condensers must be registered with the council. This is to help identify potential areas that could lead to the spread of infections (for example legionella), and to ensure correct measures are taken to eliminate the risk of infections being spread.
There is no fee for this service.

When the notification is received, we'll add the details to the cooling tower register. A safety officer may want to visit your premises to check water quality or safety issues.
