When to apply

You need to let us know if any details of your licence or club certificate change.

Changes to a personal licence

You'll need to include:

• one passport sized photograph signed by an approved signatory
• your plastic card and paper licence summary
• a cheque or postal order for the fee, or a copy of your receipt if paid online
• application form

Submit your change details and supporting documents

You'll need to submit your forms, supporting documents and your payment (or online payment receipt) to the Licensing team at the address below.

Changes to a premises licence

To make a change to your premises licence you'll need to follow these steps:

1. Return the original document or provide an explanation of what happened to it
2. Mark on the licence or explain the change(s) required within the licence
3. Sign and date the letter – if you're a company, the signatory will need to print their name and indicate in what capacity they have signed
4. Pay the change fee

Fee

The fee for each licence and certificate is £10.50.

How to pay

You can pay the amendment fee online using our payment portal, by phone, or by post.

Online

• open our online payment portal
• select 'licences/registrations/permits' from the Product search drop-down at the top of the page and press View
• then select 'Personal licence amendment' and follow the instructions
• return a copy of your payment receipt with your documents

By phone

You can pay using a credit or debit card by phoning the licensing team on the number at the bottom of the page.

By post

Send a cheque or postal order for £10.50 made payable to Croydon Council. We do not accept cash.
