Auction registration and notification

After you've applied

Once we receive your application it will be evaluated. Then you will be notified about the outcome. You may be contacted by a member of the licensing team to discuss your application.

Please note: you have to wait until the auction registration is issued before you can hold an auction. The auction registration will only be issued if the registration conditions have been complied with. View the registration conditions (PDF, 22.1KB).

How to appeal 

If you wish to appeal against an application decision or registration decision you can appeal to:

You'll need to do this within 21 days of receiving the decision.

Complaints 

We would always advise that you make contact with the trader in the first instance, preferably in writing. If you are not satisfied with the outcome please contact the licensing team using the details below.
