What a chaperone (or matron) does
A chaperone (or matron) is a licensed person appointed to protect, control and care for children whilst they are modelling, performing on stage or taking part in a film production, radio or television programme.
To quote the law, they act in 'loco parentis and should exercise the same care and control which a good parent might be reasonably expected to give that child'.
All applicants must live within the London Borough of Croydon.
