Vary a gambling premises licence
What you need to do if you want to add, amend, remove an authorised activity to an existing gambling premises licence.
When to apply for a variation
You will need to apply to vary a premises licence if you want to:
- add, amend or remove an authorised activity
- amend another detail of the licence
- exclude a default condition
- add, amend or remove a condition imposed or excluded by the licensing authority
This refers to licences for casinos, bingo, betting, adult gaming machines and family entertainment centres.

| Bingo premises | £1,750 |

Submit your application and pay the fee
You'll need to send your application and a cheque to the licensing team. Cheques should be made payable to Croydon Council.

There are two types of notices forms depending on whether you're an individual or you're applying as a company or with others.
If you're an individual applicant

Where to send your notice
You'll need to send a copy of your application form within 7 days of applying to each authority listed in the 'list of responsible authorities'.
