If you operate a business premises and would like to offer it as a venue for marriages or civil partnerships you should apply to us for approval.

Apply for approval a marriage or civil partnership venue

The following fees apply for a new or renewed licence:

  • premises with an existing LA03 premises licence/club certificate, new application: £408
  • renewal fee: £242
  • premises without an existing LA03 premises licence or club certificate, new application: £1,113
  • renewal fee: £670

Before you apply

You'll need to provide copies of the following:

  • a plan of the premises
  • a public liability insurance certificate
  • a fire risk assessment
  • a fixed electrical report
  • a copy of a premises licence (if the premises has one)
