Croydon Town Centre is home to Surrey Street Market, one of the oldest known streets markets in Britain, which has been trading since 1276. By popular demand and following the completion of a £1.1 million refurbishment, Surrey Street’s popular Sunday market is back and is hosting a new programme of weekly events alongside its regular market offer.
The event line-up includes interactive street theatre, an entrepreneurs market, outdoor musical entertainment and Christmas-themed events for when the festivities draw near.
