Turnaround Centre
This centre is for 14 to 21 year olds living in Croydon who are:
- involved in crime or antisocial behaviour
- at risk of getting involved in crime
- homeless
It's also a place for parents and guardians worried about their children getting caught up in crime. They can get advice and help to avoid their concerns becoming a reality.
The Turnaround Centre is a groundbreaking initiative. It provides a single place for young people and their families to access help and support. Services available include:
- youth workers
- the police
- educational welfare officers
- voluntary services
- social workers and health advice
- leaving care services
The Centre is operated by Croydon Council in partnership with a range of expert agencies.
The Turnaround Centre is also the central locality hub for early help support.
Drop-in zone
The drop-in zone is a place for young people to ask for advice and support in a safe and secure environment.
