Complaints about councillors

Information on the formal procedure for making a complaint about a Croydon councillor.

In accordance with the Localism Act 2011, the council has adopted arrangements for considering complaints about members’ conduct and failures to comply with the Council’s Code of Conduct. These arrangements include how a complaint can be made about a member's conduct, how the complaint will be assessed and the circumstances in which the complaint may be referred to the Ethics Committee for consideration.
