This strategy aims to minimise our borrowing to an absolute minimum, whilst fulfilling our statutory duty for the availablity of school places. It covers the 3 stages of education, including special educational needs and disability, and the pupil referral unit:
- early years
- primary
- secondary
The proposals outlined in this report will ensure that we:
- comply with school place planning duties to promote high standards of education and fair access to education
- secure provision for children with special educational needs and disabilities
- respond to parental preference
