This is the first strategy of its’ kind in Croydon for a number of years. The aim of the strategy is to ensure that our residents' voices are heard.
We commissioned tenant engagement experts to help develop a framework that would ensure residents’ voices are strongly embedded across the council. Key aims from these experts include:
- building a team of staff and residents who would create this new framework
- introducing significant concepts including lived experience and an understanding of what ‘silent voices’ means
- delivering a series of recommendations for improvement
