Safeguarding policy: housing management

This policy outlines what is expected of housing management staff, contractors, individuals and partners, together with the escalation and referral process.

Safeguarding is a shared responsibility. Employees of Croydon Council, along with service providers, contractors, residents, and other individuals and partners, have a statutory duty to work collaboratively. They must do this while fulfilling their obligations under the relevant legislation to protect children and adults at risk from abuse, neglect, maltreatment or harm.
