Who to contact about flooding and water issues and where to get further information.
During a flooding event, if you are vulnerable or feel that lives are at risk, contact the emergency services on 999 for immediate assistance and rescue.
If the issue is urgent but not life threatening, please contact us by phone 020 8726 6000 (Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm)
To report an emergency to us outside of these hours:
Main river flooding is the responsibility of the Environment Agency and can be reported by calling the incident hotline on 0800 807060.
Main rivers in Croydon include:
Flooding from public sewers is the responsibility of Thames Water and can be reported by calling 0800 316 9800.
If you believe flooding to be coming from a burst water main, contact your water supplier:

After an event, flooding can be reported to the Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA). We are the LLFA for the Croydon area.
