Immigration inspections for visa purposes have to be carried out by a qualified environmental health officer
Immigration inspections for visa purposes have to be carried out by a qualified environmental health officer.
It is not mandatory that these inspections are carried out through a local authority. However Croydon Council is one of the few who at present carry out these inspections.
An immigration inspection provided by Croydon costs £196.
Providing you are the home owner contact us to request the inspection. We will send a letter requesting payment, then once this payment is made you will need to ring this office with your receipt number and our officer will book an appointment with you (this usually takes around three days).
Should you not own the property your request will need to be made in writing with a letter from your landlord confirming that it is ok for the inspection to take place.
