Private Sector Housing - Damp, condensation and mould
What landlords should do when you report damp and mould
Landlords have different ways to respond to a damp and mould report depending on the cause and urgency of the problem.
We expect the landlord to act within 2 guide times:
- in an emergency, they should visit within 24 hours
- for routine issues,t hey should visit within 5 days
Landlords should read find out what is causing damp and mould in your home if they are not sure what the problem is or how to deal with condensation or black mould in the home.
