The David Lean Cinema is a 68 seat arts cinema located within Croydon Clocktower. Most screenings are now presented by the Save the David Lean Cinema Campaign; a non-profit Community Interest Company.
The Campaign's screenings can be booked online via their website.
Phone bookings can be made by calling 020 3740 5740 (£2 charge for any number of tickets). Hours of availability will vary, so please leave a voicemail with your name and phone number for a call back.
The above services all close two and half hours before a film starts, and any remaining tickets (as well as tickets for future films) are sold from the box office in the Arts Bar, which opens 30 minutes before every screening. Cash and card payments accepted. The refund and exchange policy can be found on the campaign website. Enquiries should be made via the website's contact form.
The cinema is accessible by ramp and lift. Helpers attending with a wheelchair user are eligible for a complimentary seat, so contact the Campaign if one is required. The cinema also has an infrared system to assist patrons who have a hearing impairment.
