Find out how to renew your Croydon libraries membership card
Your library membership card is valid for 2 years. After that, we will ask you if you are still living at the same address, before renewing your card. You need to visit a library to renew your membership.
If at any time you move to a new address, you will need to show one official document with your current name and address on it, such as a driving licence, allowance book or bank statement.
If you think you have lost your library membership card, contact us as soon as possible and we will cancel your card.
You are responsible for all the items taken out on your card. If you lose it, and someone else uses it to borrow items, you will be asked to pay for them if they are not returned.
To apply for a replacement membership card, visit any Croydon library with 1 official document with your current name and address on it, such as a driving licence, allowance book, council tax letter or bank statement.
You will be charged for the replacement card.
