Croydon Libraries are part of the Universal Reading Offer, which includes a national information offer to library customers called Bookmark Your Library.

Skyline counselling

Skyline offers free and friendly online counselling for young people aged 14 to 25 in Croydon or Sutton. Register online at http://www.talkofftherecordonline.org/ and we'll connect you to a trained counsellor who you can talk to in confidence via our website.

Alternatively, sign up to one of our group web chats (Skycasts) to meet other young people and learn more about topics such as anxiety or depression. 

If you'd prefer to talk to someone face to face, Off The Record provide a variety of services for young people across Croydon and Sutton including face to face counselling.

Health information

Come and visit the new Healthy Living Hub at the central library in Katherine Street and ask staff about becoming more active. There is a stop smoking adviser available to help and visiting agencies come to the hub all through the month.

In every library there are books on prescription collections that help people find out more about mental health topics.

Business information

The libraries run business workshops to demonstrate the business online resources. Dates of these can be found on the find your library pages.

At Croydon Central Library, the National Careers Service provides access to free, impartial, professional advice on careers skills and the job market. They can help you:
