Volunteering opportunities in Parks
Friends of Park groups
Friends of Park groups are made up of local residents that work in partnership with the council and take practical action to improve their park or open space. They welcome new volunteers to help with maintaining flower beds, community gardens, orchards, woodlands, running events, guided walks, raise funds for park improvements and promote the site to the wider community.
To join an existing group download the Friends of Parks group pdf below. If you’re thinking of setting up a new group download the Information pack to find out how.
