Find general information about our parks and greenspaces.
Please respect our parks and other park users. Take your litter home with you and dispose of cigarettes responsibly. Fires and BBQs are not permitted as they pose a particular risk during hot weather when grass fires are easily started.
Parks and greenspaces are open all-year round. Park gates and car parks are predominantly not locked at night but certain site gates may be closed at times.
For small gatherings up to 30 people in parks, please note the following:
For larger private gatherings and public events, please submit an event application via our dedicated events page.
We ask that all visitors to our parks are respectful of these areas and to behave considerately so that all users and nearby residents can enjoy the benefits of our greenspaces.
Neighbourhood safety officers (NSO's) visit all Croydon’s parks and greenspaces, as well as Housing land and district centres across the borough and enforce where appropriate.
If you are aware of anti-social and/or criminal behaviour in our greenspaces, please use the information below to report it to the relevant authority.
A number of parks have toilet facilities that are either council operated or are operated by park café at their discretion.

Toilet facility opening times will vary.
Parks with toilet facilities include:
• Ashburton Park
• Coombe Wood Café
• Coulsdon Memorial Ground Café
• Lloyd Park Café
• Park Hill Recreation Ground
• Waddon Ponds
• Wandle Park Café (currently closed)
The following parks have cafes. These are the responsibility of the cafe owners and opening times are at their discretion:
