Find out about mental health support and what to do in a mental health crisis.
If you or someone else has seriously harmed themselves, call 999 or go to the nearest Accident and Emergency (A&E).
Your care plan will tell you who to contact in an emergency.
If you cannot find your care plan, contact your community mental health team on 020 3228 6000. Ask for your care coordinator and they will tell you who to contact.
Call 0800 731 2864 and choose option 1 to speak to the 24-hour mental health crisis line. They can connect you to local mental health services, including crisis support teams and peer support services.
Go to your GP as soon as possible if you need urgent mental health support, but are not in crisis.

You can get support if you're worried about your mental health or someone else's. It can help to talk to someone. This could be a friend or family member.
You can also get support from your GP. They may refer you to South London and Maudsley (SLAM), which specialises in mental health.

If you or someone you care for is a patient, you can get support from the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS).
