If you receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN), also known as a parking charge or parking fine, there are several ways you can pay.
Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs), also known as parking fines, are issued when motorists break traffic or parking regulations.
Often they are issued by the council's civil enforcement officers and placed on the vehicle.
If an offence is caught on camera, a PCN will be sent by post to the registered owner of the vehicle.
You will need the PCN number when paying by any of the following methods.
Pay online using a Visa, MasterCard, Delta or Electron card.
Call 0345 3000 614 at any time to pay using a Visa, MasterCard, Delta or Electron card.
Pay by cash, cheque or debit card at any post office, or by cash only at any PayPoint outlet: find PayPoint outlet locations on the PayPoint website.
You will need a letter or notice containing your unique barcode. Keep your receipt as a record of your payment.
All cheques must be made payable to Croydon Council. Post-dated cheques will not be accepted.
Write your PCN number and vehicle registration number on the reverse of the cheque or postal order. Send this to:
Croydon Council Parking Services
PO Box 1462 Croydon CR9 1WX
If you want a receipt, enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope with your payment.
Croydon Parking Services does not have a vehicle removal service for PCN enforcement.
