The Statutory Consultation on Croydon’s maximum 20mph speed limit proposal for this area will close at 23.59 on Wednesday 15 February 2017. All representations received in the mailbox objections@croydon.gov.uk up until that time will be considered.
We will also consider all objections received via the council’s postal mail up until Friday 17 February 2017. The extra time allows for receipt of any objections made by Wednesday but not yet processed by the postal system.
All objections will be reported to Council Members for their consideration at the meeting of the Traffic Management Advisory Committee scheduled to take place on 9 May 2017, following which objectors will be notified of the outcome. The outcome will also be placed on this webpage as a further update.
Please note that the agenda and reports will appear on the Council website a week before the meeting and can be accessed using the link Calendar of Council meetings
If you wish to attend and address the meeting, further information on attendance may be obtained by contacting Victoria Lower (Members’ Services Manager) after 2 May 2017 by telephoning 020 8726 6000 ext. 14773. Please note any requests to be added to the speakers list cannot be taken before that date.
Also note that although currently it is anticipated that the Traffic Management Advisory Committee meeting scheduled for 9 May 2017 will consider the objections report for Croydon’s 20mph speed limit proposal, this could change. Any changes to the scheduled meeting will be notified as a future update on this webpage.
The meeting will take place at:
Town Hall,
Katherine Street,
Croydon,
CR0 1NX
For more information on what will happen next, please see the section ‘What are the next steps’ in the previous update given below.
