Healthy School Streets exemption permits
Who can apply
Healthy School Streets limit through traffic near school entrances.
If you live on a Healthy School Street, you can get an exemption permit so you can drive through the area.
You can get a temporary resident exemption permit for:
- a carer or health care worker
- a visitor with mobility issues
- unplanned essential visits, for example for boiler repair
- a trades vehicle with heavy tools
You can also get an exemption permit if you:
- run a business or charity with on-premises parking on the Healthy School Street
- work for a business, nursery or school on the Healthy School Street
