Healthy School Streets exemption permits

Healthy School Streets limit through traffic near school entrances. 

If you live on a Healthy School Street, you can get an exemption permit so you can drive through the area. 

You can get a temporary resident exemption permit for:

• a carer or health care worker
• a visitor with mobility issues
• unplanned essential visits, for example for boiler repair
• a trades vehicle with heavy tools

You can also get an exemption permit if you:

• run a business or charity with on-premises parking on the Healthy School Street
• work for a business, nursery or school on the Healthy School Street
