Paying for parking with RingGo

Find out how to pay for parking in Croydon using the RingGo app and website, by phone or PayPoint.

You can pay for parking with RingGo if:

  • you park in a car park or on-street parking bay, where you see the RingGo sign
  • you're a resident buying a one-month permit for yourself
  • you're a resident buying a visitor day permit for someone else

How to pay

You can pay:

RingGo smartphone app

The RingGo smartphone app is free to download.

The app only stores the name of the person parking and the vehicle registration. It does not store personal information, like your card details.

SMS text notification fee

We do not charge you to use the RingGo app. But some default settings may mean you pay a small charge to RingGo for SMS text reminders.

Optional fees:

  • SMS text message to confirm your parking session: £0.10p
  • SMS text message to alert you 10 minutes before your parking expires: £0.10p

If you do not want to pay the extra fees, please opt out in the notification settings of the RingGo app.

Email notification

There is no charge for email notifications.
If you have registered your email address with RingGo you will receive a notification to your email inbox, confirming your parking session, however you will not receive an email reminder that your session is ending.

PayPoint

You can pay by cash or card at any shop that has PayPoint.

The session will automatically start, so you do not need to return to your vehicle.
