Search for regeneration projects in Croydon

Changes will be made to London Road to prioritise sustainable transport and improve experiences for cyclists, pedestrians and buses, businesses and residents. The scheme will also use a Healthy Streets approach and make use of cultural and greening opportunities to improve the environment. 

The layout of the London Road Corridor will be improved to reduce the number of vehicle routes to and from London Road, improving the flow into and out of the town centre. 

This scheme aligns with the mayor of London's Transport Policy (MTS) which seeks to discourage people from using a car for short journeys.
