An academy for boys and girls aged 3 to 11.
The academy has an agreed admission number of 60 part-time pupils in the Nursery. The academy will accordingly admit 60 part-time pupils each year from the academic year in which they turn 4. The Nursery school day will be split into 2 sessions (morning & afternoon). 30 applicants will be accommodated in each session.
As nursery provision is non-statutory, there is no right of appeal to an independent appeal panel, although the academy will consider any complaints. If we receive more applications than there are places available at that time in our nursery class, we use the same admissions criteria as we use for reception admissions to prioritise applications.
Parents should be aware that attending the nursery class does not mean your child will automatically transfer to the reception class at this school. You will still need to apply at the appropriate time for a place for your child in a reception class, using the council's common application form.
Enhanced learning provision is a term that is used to describe specialist provision in a mainstream school for pupils with a significant level of special needs.
Oasis Academy Shirley Park Primary School supports pupils with moderate learning difficulties, aged 4 to 11.
Admission to these is through Croydon Council’s special educational needs (SEN) team.
