There are a number of initiatives that the Croydon Head Teachers Association (CHTA) are supporting to ensure that Croydon is a destination of choice:

Croydon Education Recruitment Careers Fair

Time: 10.00am to 1.00pm
Location: London South Bank University, 3 Wellesley Road, Croydon, CR0 2AG (5 minutes’ walk from East Croydon station)

Could you make a difference to the young people of Croydon?

Are you interested in teaching as a profession? or are you considering a career in education?

Exhibitors will meet potential candidates to discuss prospective positions and opportunities in their organisations and across the borough.

The event will feature a number of local exhibitors including:

teacher training providers
housing providers
professional associations
education settings (including educational institutions and programmes)

Experts will be available to offer advice and tips on various aspects of teaching, such as:

applying to become a teacher
securing your first teaching job
returning to teaching
re-training as a teacher

Also, there will be opportunities to explore other jobs and careers within education.
