You can extend your licence beyond the initial grant period or you can make a change to an existing licence.

The process for extending a mobile scaffold or cherry picker licence in Croydon changed on 12 June 2023. If your licence was issued before then, please re-apply for a licence now. You will be sent a link in the confirmation email to manage your licences and permits going forward, including paying for extensions.

  • Each additional day: £63
  • Refundable bond deposit of £200 also required

Mobile scaffold licence

Scaffolding licence

  • 4 weeks: £488
  • per 4 weeks (per elevation for scaffolding over 10m in length): £610
  • Refundable bond deposit of £50 per square metre of enclosed highway also required
