CarelinePlus
The CarelinePlus service is council-run and supports anyone 18 and over who may feel vulnerable, have a disability, or a long-term health condition. Members can access support and help whenever they need it by pressing a button.
The service gives added reassurance to relatives and friends who cannot always be around, because they know their loved ones can summon the help and support, they need.
Who can join
You can join the service if you:
- are prone to falls
- live alone
- are housebound
- need added reassurance.

How it works
The basic service consists of an alarm and a pendant that once pressed activates a call through to our 24-hour call monitoring centre. Once the operator receives a call, they confirm the help and support that is needed, and then contact our responding team.
We may also be able to help by providing additional sensors if you have a range of medical conditions such as:
- COPD
- Dementia
- Diabetes
- Epilepsy

Partner services
CarelinePlus work in conjunction with other services and can signpost clients to find additional advice and equipment:
