Adult social care and health strategy

Our adult social care and health strategy 2026 to 2030

Our refreshed strategy builds on the lessons we have learned over the years through our Adults Living Independently (ALI) Programme, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection of Adult Social Care Services, and the analysis of operational data.

Most importantly, it was co-designed with over 1000 residents, VCFS organisations and our staff.

Our six priorities set out how we will deliver over the next five years, in line with Future Croydon.

These are to:

  • support people as early as possible
  • help people live more independently
  • identify and reduce inequities through high quality services
  • improve the range and accessibility of accommodation
  • use ideas from the community to shape our work
  • work closely with health and community partners to provide more joined-up services

Each year, we will produce a report called the Local Account, that outlines the progress we are making against the annual action plans and delivery of the strategy.

The report  will include conversations with residents and partners about the differences they have seen. It will  set out the next year’s set of actions.
