Fostering payments are made weekly, and are made up of an allowance to be spent on the child, and a fee for yourself.

Your level reflects your experience and the training you complete. As a Croydon foster carer, you’ll be supported every step of the way to grow, develop, and progress in your role.
Specialist fostering roles are paid at a higher rate of £600 per week.

In total, you will receive between £570 and £942 per week, per child depending on the child's age. This includes your allowance, fees and any additional payments.
