We can collect:
- waste that cannot be recycled
- cold ash from fires, bagged
- food-soiled cardboard
- plastic bags and film
- polystyrene
- disposable nappies
Please put your general rubbish in black sacks within your bin.
What does not go in your rubbish bin
Do not put any of these items in your rubbish bin:
- food waste: put this in your food waste bin
- waste that can be recycled: put this in your recycling bins
- textiles: these can be collected with your recycling bins
- batteries: these can be collected with your recycling bins
- electrical waste
- garden waste: we collect this if you pay for our garden waste service
- DIY waste
hazardous waste such as:
- asbestos
- chemicals
- gas bottles
- paints or varnishes
- tyres
