Gambling premises licences
If you’re a premises-based gambling business in Croydon, for example an adult gaming centre, entertainment centre or bingo hall, you need to apply for a gambling premises licence.
Who can apply
You'll need to apply for a gambling licence if you're opening a:
- adult gaming centre
- betting premises
- betting track premises
- family entertainment centre
- bingo premises
Each licence is valid for an indefinite period, but there is an annual fee, which is payable on the anniversary of the grant of the licence.
There's a different process if you're transferring a licence or your want to apply to vary a premises licence.
