Additional HMO licensing
Croydon does not currently have an additional HMO licensing scheme. However, on 1 September 2026 a new additional HMO Licensing scheme comes into force which will apply to any HMO property across the whole borough that is occupied by 3 or more individuals forming 2 or more households.
