Licensing for Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO).
Once a mandatory HMO licence application has been submitted online with all of the required documentation and the HMO licence fee, an officer will contact you to arrange an inspection to visit. At the visit the officer will assess if there are any hazards as described in the HHSRS (for more details read Housing health and safety rating system information (PDF, 231.51KB). The assessment will inform you about any works that are required to bring the property up to standard.
