Licensing for Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO).
The Housing Act 2004 requires every local authority to maintain a public register of properties licensed under the Act, together with any Temporary Exemption Notices served or any Interim or Final Management Orders.
All licenses issued under Croydon’s mandatory HMO licensing scheme can be viewed on the public HMO register.
If you do not find the address you are looking for, this may be because the property is exempt, for example, registered social housing providers or housing associations.
The register is updated as we issue licences and therefore applications that are currently being processed will not appear. For queries relating to the HMO register please contact us.
The public HMO register is available as a paper copy (by post) or in PDF format at a cost of £54. If you would like to arrange for this to be sent to you, please contact us with your details and to arrange payment.
Alternatively a copy of the public HMO register is available to view only at our offices. To arrange an appointment to view this please contact us.
