If you are a care experienced young person, or an adult working with or supporting a care experienced young person, for example, currently in care or about to leave care, find out more about how we can support you.

Young people aged 16 must be in academic Year 12.
A caseworker will work with the young person to support them find an appropriate pathway to Education, Employment or Training (EET).
To ensure that NEET young people have access to support, referrals are usually assessed within 2 weeks. This can take longer during busier times, for example summer holidays. We will however, always let you know the current waiting times.
Once we have received the referral form, the referring professional, parent or carer will be contacted to confirm to whom the case was allocated and, in some cases, why the referral could not be processed or allocated.
If we are unable to help, we will give you details of other teams or organisations that we think are more appropriate to support you.
The young person you are referring must give consent to all required sections. If you are using the Word form, you must indicate this. If the form is incomplete the referral will not be accepted.
You can make a referral online:
Alternatively, you can download and return the following form to us at post16@croydon.gov.uk.
