What you need to do after you've applied for a place.
Once your application is received, you'll get the outcome via email within 10 school days. Then your child will be placed on the waiting list for your preferred schools.
We aim to offer you your highest preferred school where possible. If your preferred school has a place and your child is at the top of the waiting list, they'll be offered a place.
You will receive an email notifying you to log into your online account to view the outcome of your application.
You can check your child's position on the waiting list online. You will need:
If we're unable to offer your child a school place, they will continue to remain on the waiting list for the remainder of the academic year.
If you're offered a school place that's not your first choice, your child will not automatically go on the waiting list for your higher preference schools.
To be added to the waiting list, you must re-apply using the online application portal. Then your child will remain on the waiting list until the end of the academic year.
When you submit a new application, all previous preference schools will be overwritten. You must list all schools again in order of preference for each new application.
If you still want your child to remain on the waiting list after the academic year has ended, you must re-apply by submitting a in-year application using the online application portal.
If there's not a place available at one of your preferred schools, an alternative offer will be made to your nearest school with an available space.
