Order a bin

If you move into a house in Croydon, the previous resident should have left the bins for you. If they haven't, you will need to order a replacement.

Delivery times

Bin or box orders can take up to 10 days to be delivered. 

There is currently a delay of up to 4 months on food caddy orders due to low stock and national demand.

Larger bin

You can request a larger general waste bin if you have either:

  • 5 or more people living in your property
  • a medical condition that generates a lot of waste

Recycling bin or box

When you order a recycling container, our system will only show the container that is suitable for your property. For most properties, that will be a 240 litre recycling bin, but some properties will be offered a 55 litre box instead. 

What to do if you do not have a bin

No recycling bin

If you do not have the correct bin or box please separate your recycling into untied carrier bags on your collection day:

  • One set of bags containing paper and cardboard
  • Another set of bags containing for example, tins, bottles, jars and plastics

No food waste bin

Food waste can go in tied bags with general rubbish.

No general rubbish bin

General rubbish should be in tied bin bags and put out on your collection day.
